Malaysian and Islamic motifs are employed in the design of the 421m Menara Kuala Lumpur. The tower head resembles the Malaysian gasing, a spinning top used in a traditional game. The arches at the entrance lobby are adorned with Islamic patterns and studded with diamond-like glass pieces. The observation deck offers good views of the Petronas Twin Towers and the city. Although the KL Tower is shorter than the Petronas Twin Towers, the former actually surpasses the latter in terms of height above sea level because it sits on top of a hill)
Suria KLCC Shopping Centre (shopping stop) – Malaysia's premier shopping destination located at Kuala Lumpur's prestigious commercial address and nestled between the PETRONAS Twin Towers, one of the world's tallest buildings:

The Twein Towers feature the world's highest double-deck Skybridge, linking the 2 buildings at the 41st and 42nd floors at 170m above street level. Access to a trip up to the skybridge is limited to 1,700 people daily)

Batu Caves, FRIM and Gombak:
- Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) has a canopy walkway, it is a 200m long rope-and-ladders walkway anchored to 5 trees at 30m above the forest floor.
- Bukit Tabur, located in the Melawati Range, which is part of the Titiwangsa Range and next to the Gombak Forest Reserve. This series of karst hills is reputed to have the longest quartz ridge in the world.
- Gua Damai, Batu Caves
(Batu Caves, a large limestone outcrop 13 km north of KL, were discovered by accident by an exploring naturalist in the 1880s. The main cave, 100m high and 75m long, is reached via 273 steps.)
- Ulu Gombak Forest Reserve, a dipterocarp forest reserve which was the original home to the Temuan, the largest Orang Asli tribe in Selangor. Today, about ,000 Temuan reside in Gombak, some of whom still hunt in the forest. There are a no. of trails.
